Project AGAPE Sunday, on April 22, is essential to the humanitarian ministry to Armenia, a collaborative effort of the North Carolina and Western NC Conferences. It is the only ministry licensed to serve this area.
The bulletin insert provides information for congregations and church groups to contribute in different ways. Humanitarian aid from churches can be dropped off at designated locations (Click here for instructions and locations ) from April 23-27, as can cleaning buckets. The Mission Response Center (website) will pick up the donations and prepare them for shipping. Donations may also be taken to the Mission Response Center by appointment.
In addition to the bulletin insert, Project AGAPE provides an 8.5 x 11 fact sheet and an 8.5 x 14 brochure, for individuals and groups seeking additional information about this vital ministry. For more information, contact Rev. Allan Van Meter, 336-403.6792.
