The Catawba Valley District will offer a 4-session Advanced Lay Servant Training course, "Opening Ourselves to Grace: The Means of Discipleship", held via Zoom. 

The "Opening Ourselves to Grace" Advanced Lay Servant course explores grace and the basic practices of Christian faith and life from a Wesleyan perspective by examining John Wesley’s understanding of spiritual practice, Bible study, and other helpful resources.

Instructors: Richard Strachan and Jesse Caldwell

The sessions will be held on four (4) Sunday afternoons from 2pm - 4:30pm, via Zoom.

Attendance is required at all four (4) sessions to qualify for a course certificate. No exceptions will be made. This course qualifies as an Advanced Lay Servant course.

This course will be offered at no cost. However, you must download the free pdf participant's guide to have on hand before the class begins.
