This course is a foundational, prerequisite course for all courses in Lay Servant Ministries. Participants are encouraged to discover and employ personal spiritual gifts as God intended and to consider the importance of exercising servant leadership, developing future leaders, remaining rooted in consistent spiritual practices, and being part of a group that holds members accountable in their discipleship.

Course Location: Online via Zoom
Course Dates: Course will be taught over four consecutive Mondays (Sept. 11, Sept. 18, Sept. 25, Oct. 2); students must attend all four sessions to get credit for completing the course.
Course Time: 6:30pm - 9:00pm ET
Target Audience: This course is intended for adults who want to better understand their gifts of caring, leading, and communicating and how they can use their gifts more effectively as leaders in their local church. The course is open to anyone, but we especially encourage Lay Leaders, committee chairpersons, and committee members to attend.
It is a required course for anyone wishing to become a Certified Lay Servant, Certified Lay Speaker, or Certified Lay Minister.
Cost: $25.00 per person, plus participants are required to obtain their own copy of the required textbook.
